I first thought Sol Farm was a beach where tourists gathered, but yellow fields of flowers lured me farther to a Farmer’s Market. Next, I noticed that the island had also two differently named sections, Potelinkoland and Chadokoro. There was an abandoned carnival, and a Japanese village section where I found my favorite cats, a jazz club, and the ubiquitous Happy Mood whale overhead; but most surprising of all, a dark and noisy thunderstorm came up and sent me hurrying for shelter.

I could not get a good snapshot of the rain, but it was pouring!
